Key Responsibilities
- Control Systems Design : Develop and implement advanced control algorithms for 3-phase active rectifiers and motor control electronics.
- Software Development : Create embedded software requirements and write optimized code for power electronic applications.
- System Design : Contribute to system architecture, developing subsystem designs that balance requirements, cost, and reliability.
- Testing & Debugging : Perform source and assembly-level debugging for power electronics controllers.
- Performance Optimization : Collaborate with control system engineers to enhance software performance.
- Supplier Collaboration : Work with suppliers to review software designs and participate in design reviews.
- Team Leadership : Lead or support small-to-medium-sized software development teams, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Interface with vendors, customers, and internal departments to address technical issues.
- Documentation & Compliance : Create software requirements specifications, hardware / software interface control documents, and verification plans to validate compliance with customer requirements.
