What You'll Do As The Electrical Testing Technician
- Conduct relay programming, testing, and commissioning for medium voltage systems
- Prepare equipment and materials for testing procedures
- Pursue and complete NICET certifications, with the ultimate goal of achieving NICET 4
- Document and submit test results to customers
- Assist with office duties as needed
- Travel to job sites, including locations outside Wisconsin
- Work with transformers and SEL relays on medium voltage solar installations in various states
- Collaborate closely with the Testing Department team
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and adherence to company guidelines
- Experience as an Engineer or Technician with medium voltage testing
- Experieince programming or comissioning transformers and SEL relays
- Experience with equipment and material preparation
- Ability to complete Nicet 4 Certification
- Okay with up to 50% travel in MN, IL and the east coast
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience as a Relay Testing Engineer for medium voltage solar sites
- BS in Electrical, Power, or related engineering discipline
- Valid Class A CDL
- Nicet 4 Certification
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience (range: $22-$56 per hour)
