What You'll Do As The Supplier Quality Engineer
- Ensure manufactured products at suppliers meet specifications and applicable regulations
- Represent Quality for risk management, equipment qualification, process qualification, capability studies, and customer support
- Prepare incoming part control plans
- Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) and root cause analysis for continuous improvement
- Assist in maintaining certification to ISO 9001, TS16949, and improving the Quality System
- Manage incoming inspection activities and assess suppliers through control plans
- Conduct supplier evaluations using PPAP activities for new suppliers and components
- Drive on-time delivery in support of operational requirements
- Manage supplier corrective actions to minimize non-conforming materials
- Support product development and provide manufacturing support
- A 4-year college degree in Engineering, Quality, or a business-related program
- 4 years of experience in a manufacturing quality role (preferred)
- ISO/ASQ Certification experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of World Class (Lean) manufacturing principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with quality management systems and auditing
