Trueline's client, a leading chemical manufacturing company, is seeking a Research and Development Chemist to join their team in product innovation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive the development of cutting-edge chemical processes and products.
What You'll Do as the Research and Development Chemist :
- Spearhead research initiatives to create advanced chemical manufacturing processes
- Design and develop innovative tools, equipment, and mechanical processes
- Formulate complex chemical products, including synthetic materials and polymers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product feasibility and timely development
- Engage with customers to understand technical needs and present tailored solutions
- Implement and oversee testing methodologies for materials and finished products
- Optimize production methods to meet quality standards cost-effectively
- Evaluate competitor products and contribute to benchmarking efforts
- Explore and integrate environmentally friendly materials and processes
- Train team members on new products and manufacturing procedures
- Participate in ISO 9000 procedures and troubleshoot operational variances
- Travel to customer sites for new product design and implementation
