TruEnergy Federal Credit Union, a $126 million dollar Credit Union located in Springfield, Virginia, is looking for an experienced bilingual MSR II to assist in our branch. This position will serve as a liaison between the member and the credit union. Provides account information by phone or in person and information on the full range of credit union products and services. Provides a variety of transaction services to members, including loan interviewing and processing. Provides backup to the Senior Branch Manager, including opening / closing the branch, vault balancing, etc.
Major Duties & Responsibilities :
Member Interaction & Service – Greet and assist members in a professional and courteous manner, providing prompt and accurate service in person and by phone.
Transaction Processing – Handles deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, transfers, money orders, cashier’s checks, and mail transactions.
Account Management – Open new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and provide necessary membership information.
Member Requests & Support – Assist with share transfers, withdrawals, check requests, CD transactions, check orders, account discrepancies, and account balancing.
Product & Service Promotion – Identify member needs through interviews, credit reports, and account reviews to actively cross-sell credit union products and services.
Daily Balancing & Cash Handling – Balance cash drawer and settlement sheets, correct discrepancies, and support branch cash operations.
Branch Operations & Maintenance – Maintain branch supplies, stock forms and brochures, and ensure the branch is organized and well-equipped.
Lending Support – Assist with loan applications, quality control checklists, and member loan interviews as needed.
Leadership & Support – Provide backup to the Senior Branch Manager, including opening / closing the branch, vault balancing, and mobile deposit tasks.
Compliance & Training – Adhere to all federal, state, and organizational policies (e.g., BSA, OFAC) and assist in training new team members or supporting the call center as needed.
