Our client is a well-established private equity sponsored durable goods product manufacturer serving the residential and commercial markets. This middle market company specializes in custom and value-added manufacturing with an unwavering focus on customer service. The company is experiencing rapid growth under the direction of their private equity investors who are focused on driving product development in order to enter new markets supporting a national customer base.
We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer who has previously had full oversight of day-to-day operations with an upper-middle market multi-location customer centric CPG product business. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background touching on the merchandising and the business development sides of retail consumer products. You must have a thorough understanding of the product design / develop process, international sourcing and bring a reputation for strong and deep relationship-building with domestic retail channel customers.
This hands-on leader will partner strategically with the CEO and senior management team to develop and lead a best-in-class workforce while driving efficiencies and productivity within a metrics driven environment. The COO will have experience supporting a growing business with familiarity introducing systems, processes, and automation to improve productivity. This candidate will ideally have extensive experience overseeing domestic manufacturing operations as well as significant Asian sourcing and have previous success leading a business through rapid growth.
