This role involves operating machinery and hand tools to load and unload materials, and communicating with team members to coordinate activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks, railcars, and other containers.
- Moving materials throughout the facility using manual or powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Storing materials in designated areas and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Coordinating with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Work Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift certification preferred, but not necessary if training provided.
- At least 1 year experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
