About Us: The Bloomsburg location of MSP is a bulk mailing facility which offers production management, laser personalization, lettershop capabilities, warehouse services, and on-site drop-shipping. We process millions of pieces of mail every week.
Job Summary: The Laser Printer Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining laser printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve printing issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate laser printers to produce printed materials according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment.
- Monitor print jobs for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve printing issues, including jams and malfunctions.
- Maintain inventory of printing supplies and order replacements as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of print jobs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating laser printers or similar equipment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with printing software.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move printing supplies and equipment.
- Standing for extended periods while operating printers.
