About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Food Safety Team Lead to join our team at TruFood Manufacturing. As a key member of our sanitation team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning schedules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Collaborate with chemical suppliers to provide training on chemical safety and handling, aligning with TruFood's Environmental, Health, and Safety programs.
- Work closely with the plant leadership team to ensure seamless implementation of sanitation programs and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sanitation management within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP, FSMA, and GMP.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
