As a Production Supervisor, you will lead the production activities across multiple production lines. This role is responsible for managing shift operations, ensuring employee engagement, training and development, and continuous improvement to deliver sustainable results against organizational goals.
The position provides overall shift leadership to the production team, focusing on delivering key safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards. Key responsibilities include prioritizing safety through leadership, work procedures, and employee safety programs; fostering a collaborative working environment across all functions of the business; collaborating with Quality and Sanitation departments to ensure good manufacturing and food safety practices; coaching, mentoring, and training production line supervision, leads, and employees; managing resources including people, equipment, and materials to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards; and more.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and prioritization skills. You should be proficient in MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. Experience working in BRC or SQF environments is preferred, as is green belt or black belt certification and ERP/OEE system experience.
