Responsible for the safe maintenance and ground operation of all company aircraft, to include various administrative functions, as well as the supervision of maintenance teammates in the absence of the Director of Aviation Maintenance.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform/ensure safe maintenance and line operations.
2. Ensure the quality of maintenance and repairs.
3. Ensure compliance with appropriate government/industry regulations, as well as company policy guidelines.
4. Establish and maintain records as required by Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturers, and company policy.
5. Attend aircraft maintenance, safety, and industry related training.
6. Coordinate maintenance activities with flight operations, as required.
7. Assist with the maintenance of subscriptions, programs, inventory, and equipment.
8. Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the aviation hangar and office facility.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. 7 years of experience as an aviation mechanic
3. Holds a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license with Inspection Authority
4. Attention to detail
5. Strong knowledge of corporate and aviation software applications
6. Knowledge of Corporate Aviation Aircraft Security Procedures
7. Ability to work efficiently with minimal to no supervision
8. Problem-solving ability
9. Proven ability to function under heavy workloads and pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Post-secondary education in an aviation-related field, or equivalent education and related training
2. Experience in a corporate aviation flight department
3. Experience on type aircraft currently operated by the company
4. 2-5 years of management experience
