The ideal candidate would be located in the Central or Eastern time zone and have a current P&C insurance license. Specifically we are only considering candidates that have a strong knowledge of policy management who are extremely familiar with various coverages and endorsements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Set up new prospects and complete customer data entry according to procedures.
2. Process audits, order loss runs, run proposal and generate loss summaries.
3. Establish and communicate schedules.
4. Open, distribute, scan and route mail.
5. Order office supplies (if applicable).
6. Show proficiency in utilizing resources and software to generate reports and/or other requested information.
7. Invoice premiums related to clients.
8. Complete routinely daily, weekly, and monthly reports, as assigned.
9. Research and resolve policy discrepancies.
10. Monitor real-time call arrival patterns to ensure satisfactory service levels.
11. Keep manuals and carrier information up to date and retain knowledge of carrier and industry changes.
12. Retrieve information from carrier web-sites, as required, and keep our Client Management system, appropriately updated.
13. Maintain production goals for completing work, while maintaining high quality.
14. Support service and production team in reaching overall agency revenue and retention goals.
15. Maintains up to date knowledge of: departmental systems, related technology, and policies and procedures.
16. Perform other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. High school graduate or equivalent
2. Strong organizational skills
3. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products: Word, Excel and Outlook.
4. Currently hold a state issued Property & Casualty insurance license or the ability to obtain one within 180 days of employment.
Preferred experience:
1. State Issued property and casualty license.
2. Previous Account Management experience.
3. Strong knowledge of policy coverage.
