Senior Professional level role with subject matter expertise as a Scrum Master. Typically Scrum Masters at this level work with multiple teams at a time. They have system-wide responsibility on complex components or complex initiatives. Provide direction for entire initiative or an initiative team.

  • Key Contributor to initiative success.
  • May be called upon to troubleshoot, solve, or consult on, highly technical, complex problems and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Navigate the organization to manage dependencies and remove impediments.
  • Responsible for ensuring Truist SDLC is appropriately followed. Work under minimal supervision.
  • Provide input to initiative-related decisions.
  • Troubleshoot complex problems and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Assist with the transfer of knowledge of Agile skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree and related training or experience, including experience in a Scrum Master role
  • Seven years of professional experience, two years of experience working on or with agile teams, three years in a delivery role (developer, tester, architect, BA, business owner, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies
  • Detailed knowledge of several IT and non-IT/Agile skills and tools and their application.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAFe Scrum Master Certification
  • Experienced with enterprise-wide agile transformation and implementing agile at scale (SAFe)
  • College degree in Computer Science, Math or related field of study
  • Subject Matter Expertise in a specific Segment/LOB/Function such as a Technical SME
  • Experience in the banking industry
  • Strong expertise coaching and mentoring team members and stakeholders at all levels on agile principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated success in using data-driven insights to track and measure team performance and recommend improvements.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Rally, Confluence and other collaboration platforms used in agile project management

Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
