Participants in the Leadership Development Program pursue prescribed training in preparation for an assignment throughout the enterprise, directed toward future leadership positions. Analysts have the opportunity to participate in structured classroom training and rotational experiences throughout the financial management organization. During the 10-month program, each Analyst will: learn about banking and financial services through classroom and rotations, gain technical and analytical skills while working alongside finance experts to contribute meaningful work aligned to the assigned rotations. Additionally, participants will complete a variety of intermediate financial and/or business analyses of financial ratios, trend analyses, revenue performance, financial forecasting and profitability projections and expense management.

- Learn a wide range of concepts, programs, and services designed to prepare for an assignment with any team in Financial Management.
- Learn and demonstrate a proficiency in the following skill areas such as: analyzing financial statements, effective communication, financial acumen.
- Participate in rotations that allow for the practical application of certain concepts and behaviors referenced within the classroom to experience a diverse array of interactions.
- Perform special projects or assignments outside of the formalized training program.
- Apply foundational knowledge and learn how to apply theoretical concepts in practical situations.
- Analyze basic information and make decisions within guidelines or standard practices to solve problems.
Required Qualifications:

- Completed a 2024 Summer Internship with Truist in Credit, FSE or TIP
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- General knowledge of the financial services industry
- Ability to relocate throughout the Truist footprint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three or more credit hours in accounting
- Grade Point Average of 3.4 or higher
- Master’s degree
