Responsible for overseeing, managing and leveraging the entire life cycle of IT investment. Acts as primary point-of-contact and trusted advisor for investment portfolio stakeholders and EIS. Proactively identifies opportunities for improving IT portfolio performance to provide a competitive advantage to the business and finds ways to improve the business through the use of technology. Maintains knowledge of the assigned IT portfolio and line(s) of business functions including, products and services, competitive environment, and latest industry news and trends from both a business and technology perspective. Works with others in the IT organization and other stakeholders to develop, prioritize and execute the IT and business portfolio. Works with executive IT leadership to understand current commitments and determine future plans. Lead a Strategy & Business Performance team to facilitate and develop technology roadmaps, optimize performance of our delivery teams, design and revise operating models, and provide actionable insights to drive organizational success.

- Analyzes portfolio performance, and recommends changes in investment mix to achieve goals.
- Provides delivery management with demand views that enable the ability to appropriately plan resource assignments and needs and understand demand versus capacity.
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices.
- Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.
- Mentors less experienced teammates to build technical expertise.
- May have people management responsibilities of a small team of portfolio managers.
- May play lead role or technical consultant role in moderately complex projects or initiatives.
- Develop and execute technology strategies aligned with business goals, with a focus on payments, commercial lending, corporate investment banking, and wealth technologies
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance business value through technology solutions
- Facilitate and lead the development of comprehensive technology roadmaps in collaboration with delivery teams and business stakeholders
- Ensure roadmaps are aligned with organizational priorities and corporate strategy, providing clear direction for technology initiatives and investments
- Design and implement future-ready operating models that align with the organization’s strategic objectives and technology aspirations
- Assess current-state operating models and define target states to optimize processes, governance, and workforce effectiveness
- Drive change management efforts to support the adoption of new operating models across the organization
- Monitor, measure, and analyze technology performance metrics and KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Recommend and implement improvements to optimize performance and reduce costs
- Serve as a key subject matter expert (SME) on organizational effectiveness analysis, data collection, and reporting requirements for ET

- Bachelor's and ten years of experience in IT or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or MBA and twelve years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, including five years of management experience.
- Banking or financial services experience.
- Eight years of experience in consulting, strategy, or technology management roles within the financial services industry
- Proven expertise in facilitating and developing technology roadmaps, operating models, and business-aligned strategies
- Demonstrated success in team leadership, including managing, mentoring, and inspiring teams to achieve goals
- Deep understanding of financial services operations, regulatory landscapes, and emerging technology trends
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in technology tools and methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint 10. Knowledge of the appropriate application of data and analytics capabilities, such as visualization and data science tools
- Executive-level communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Negotiation, persuasion, and the ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective and handle interpersonal issues with tact and diplomacy
- Experience with agile methodologies, design thinking applications, and project management frameworks is a plus
