Our client is an organization in the Minneapolis area looking for an Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and ability to work independently. This company offers a close-knit team with an emphasis on great work/life balance. This position is hybrid after training is complete.
The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all bookkeeping matters for clients.
- Gather all necessary source document each month from the clients.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Review monthly financial statements
- Prepare accurate and timely sales tax returns for clients.
- Maintain loan amortization schedules for all business loans.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
The Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- 1 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter and detail oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
