Our client is a company in the Greater Milwaukee area looking for an Accounting Specialist. This company is looking for someone with 1 years of experience, a team player, and self-motivated. The salary for this position is $52k.
The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following :
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather, compile, and evaluate data from multiple sources and various systems to prepare comprehensive monthly or quarterly statements for our accounts.
- Prepare and make entries into a general ledger system for review and approval by management. Monthly reconciliation of the previous month's outstanding balances.
- Execute data entry for premiums and losses within an AS / 400 platform, which is in the beginning phase of migrating to an updated system.
- Research and reconcile unsolved open items by policy.
- Interact with external contacts, including brokers, insureds, and third-party administrators.
- Other duties as assigned.
