Our privately held manufacturing client in Waukesha is immediately seeking an interim Accounting Manager to assist for the next three to four months. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-8 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing space. A CPA is preferred. This role is fully in the office Monday through Friday and full-time hours. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, identifying key trends and variances.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring financial accuracy and alignment with company goals.
- Support inventory accounting and cost accounting functions as needed.
- Review and document accounting processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
- Other accounting and financial projects as assigned.
