Plant Controller (40539)

Our client is an organization in the Racine County area looking for a Plant Controller. This company is looking for someone with 4 years of experience, organized, and independent. This company provides a collaborative team, a great work/life balance, and flexibility. This position is hybrid.

The salary for this job is $120k – $140k.

The Plant Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and approve journal entries. Complete the monthly financial close within SAP.
• Perform accounting functions and ensure adequate control over all transaction flows, invoicing, fixed assets, general ledger, and reporting methods.
• Continually work on strengthening the month-end close process to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Generate financial information in accordance with corporate policy and GAAP requirements.
• Interface with internal and external auditors on quarterly reviews and year-end audit.
• Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external audit support.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Plant Controller will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• 4 years of manufacturing accounting, costing, or financial analysis experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Strong software skills and knowledge of fully integrated ERP system. SAP and/or Hyperion experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
