Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5 years of experience, analytical, and has excellent leadership skills. This company provides a collaborative team, a great culture, and flexibility. This position is hybrid.
The salary for this job is $120k – $150k.
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide financial analysis as requested, contributing to informed decision-making and positive outcomes for the team.
- Oversee staff and lead their development and growth.
- Research and resolve accounting issues as well as ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Manage and prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring the highest quality and accuracy.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance and addressing any audit findings.
- Review and approve journal entries, income statements, and balance sheets reconciliation.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA or CMA preferred.
- 5 years of related experience, with at least 1 years of leadership experience.
- Self-motived and independent.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motive a team.
