Job Summary
We are seeking a Dispatcher/Broker/Sales candidate to join our team, preferably from the Auto Transport industry. Candidate must have at least 2 years dispatching experience. Ideally we would like someone to be able to fill a Dispatcher/Broker position, to receive, organize and find loads, but also broker out incoming loads. Part of the job can be sales, which we could offer an additional commission for.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Utilize GPS and other tracking tools to monitor fleet movements and optimize routes.
- Analyze shipping and receiving data to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to manage 3PL (third-party logistics) operations effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, including dispatch logs and shipment details.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to transportation management.
- Proficient in multitasking, lots of incoming and outgoing calls, must be somewhat of a quick speaker and email/cell typer .
Experience
- Proven experience in logistics or transportation management is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and external partners.
- 2 years in Dispatch
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
