We are hiring a Production Assembler for our Prosthetic Foot Line department.

Shift Monday - Thursday; 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities.
- Rotate through one or all tasks in the production process within individual departments.
- Follow drawings and other requirements and instructions to assemble components and build complete units.
- Inspect and perform quality checks and verify specifications of products and parts.
- Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures.
- Train in and perform all tasks conducted by the team and rotate through one or all tasks in the production process.
- Collect all material and equipment needed for the current process.
- Grind and smooth edges to complete a quality product.
- Identify and report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts or materials.
- Package finished products.
- Keep records of production quantities and time.
- Sweep and otherwise clean work areas.
- Maintain good safety habits and practices and follow all safety guidelines.
- Use torque wrenches, measurement devices, screwdrivers, and other hand tools.
- Use power drivers, drills, riveters, cutters, and other power tools.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Comply, encourage, and support all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain clean work area.
- Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs are dictated.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand specifications and work instruction in English.
- Ability to perform basic math, including understanding fractions.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail and quality are essential.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to good attendance and performance.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
