Primary Purpose

The Fulfillment Team - Runner is responsible for facilitating the efficient movement of goods between departments, loading/unloading gaylords, and designated staging areas to support seamless shipping and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Material Handling

• Retrieve and deliver packages, pallets, and materials to/from staging, packing, or shipping zones.

• Safely operate hand trucks, carts, or forklifts (if certified) to transport items.

Order Accuracy

• Verify package details, including labels, quantities, and conditions, against shipping documentation.

• Ensure accurate and timely handoffs between internal teams or external carriers.

Coordination

• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and drivers to address issues or delays.

• Serve as a liaison to streamline operations during peak shipping times.

Quality & Compliance

• Inspect goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies before transferring.

• Follow all company safety protocols and comply with shipping regulations.

Supportive Duties

• Assist with packing, labeling, or loading tasks as needed.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in shipping and staging areas.

Skills & Qualifications

• Required:

  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations.

  • Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Strong time management and multitasking skills.

  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

• Preferred:

  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.

Tools & Equipment Used

• Hand carts, pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified).

• Scanners, label printers, and inventory management systems.

Working Conditions

• Plant environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and physically demanding tasks.

• Extended periods of walking, standing, and moving materials.
