Assistant Principal, Harrison Middle School

Job Requirements

Harrison School District is accepting applications for a middle school assistant principal for the 2025-2026 school year. The position will be a full time (1.0 FTE) administrator position. Primary duties will focus on instructional leadership and student discipline. Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred, but not required. Harrison School District is seeking an individual who will:

• Arkansas License / Certification
• Strong in curriculum development
• Strong in instructional leadership
• Strong collaboration skills
• Experience in examining, interpreting, and using student assessment data
• Display excellent people skills
• Demonstrate effective communication within the school community
• Proficient with technology
• Effectively use learning management systems and digital resources (Canvas)
