What are the responsibilities and job description for the Statistician position at Trumbull Area Sports Network?
Overview
We are seeking a Statistician to join our sports coverage team! Trumbull Area Sports Network was created in 2022 to cover small school sports in Trumbull, Mahoning, Portage and Ashtabula counties! we recently decided we need a bigger team to maximize our sports coverage this upcoming school year! No Experience is required! We will train you! THIS JOB IS VOLUNTEER ONLY BUT THE HARDEST WORKING CANDIDATE WILL RECEIVE CERTAIN AWARDS AT THE END OF EACH SCHOOL YEAR! DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CAN’T COMMIT TO THIS!
Responsibilities
- Attend nearby sporting events as directed and record all stats that occur in the game
- Timely and accurately report stats to social media manager or our social media pages if we give it to you
Qualifications
- Sports knowledge is required
- Previous background in playing sports is not required but is a plus
- Standing and or sitting for the entire game is required
- Ability to handle simple directions and tasks
- Ability to commit to a schedule each week
- Ability to enter high school sporting events (whether with your own money or a way to enter for free)
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Nights as needed
- On call
- Weekends as needed
