At Trumbull Corporation, we are seeking skilled truck owner-operators to join our team of haulers. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for hauling broken concrete, dirt, and rock on the Bellefonte Interchange project.
The ideal candidate will possess a sole-owned vehicle in good working condition with up-to-date inspections and current registration. Additionally, they must have a minimum hauling capacity of 20 tons.
A valid driver's license covering the size and type of truck is required, along with a copy of the current registration card for all trucks used in performance of hauling services. The candidate must also provide proof of automobile liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $500,000 combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage.
Responsibilities include verifying daily work hours with the company foreman and submitting weekly invoices for payment of services. The trucker is also responsible for maintaining their vehicle, including fuel, maintenance, repair, and upkeep costs.
