- Paraprofessional/Educational Aide
The Trumbull Career & Technical Center is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional / Educational Aide to support students in our Student Success Lab, focusing on academic assistance and credit recovery.
The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to help students achieve academic success, complete coursework, and stay on track for graduation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist students with coursework, assignments, and credit recovery programs.
- Assist in administering assessments.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group academic support in core subjects.
- Monitor student progress in online credit recovery courses.
- Use educational technology and online learning platforms to support student learning.
- Supervise students in a structured and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other personnel.
- High School/Career-tech paraprofessional experience or prior experience in tutoring or student support roles preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations and learning needs.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and educational technology, especially Google Workspace for Education required.
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for helping students succeed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow school policies and procedures.
- High School diploma with paraprofessional certification or associate degree or ability to obtain paraprofessional certification.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Per the Paraprofessional 184-day Salary Schedule.
