- Extended School Year Teacher of the Deaf
- Must hold a valid certificate/licensed for Education of the Handicapped (K-12) License for Hearing Handicap.
- Must be certified/licensed to serve as an American Sign Language Interpreter.
- Must be highly qualified.
- Must demonstrate organizational skills and communication skills.
- Must be an effective communicator and motivator.
- Must possess strong leadership skills.
- Must be willing and able to carry out the duties of the job description.
- Must have a successful BCI & FBI background check.
- Must have negative drug test results.
- Adhere to Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators.
- The position will provide tutoring support for designated IEP goals and objectives.
- Assigned to work with the students 1:1 or in a small group setting during summer months.
- Collect data and progress monitor IEP goals and objectives.
