- Possesses Ohio Department of Education Interpreter for Hearing Impaired License and prefer a minimum of a 2-year associate degree.
- Experience working with deaf students.
- Possesses the ability and skill to perform the primary functions of the position(s) and the ability and skill to perform the major areas of responsibility to work with deaf students as set forth in the job description as determined by the superintendent and local Board of education.
- Facilitates communication between deaf and hearing individuals.
- As per negotiated agreement.
- Deaf Education Services Supervisor and Building Principals.
