- Teacher of Emotionally Disturbed
- 2025 - 2026 school year
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Valid State of Ohio Intervention Specialist license Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive.
- Prior teaching experience with ED children preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Outstanding work record and references.
- Successful BCII & FBI background checks.
- The salary schedule begins at $38,076 for a teacher with a bachelor’s degree and no experience.
- TCESC teachers work a 184- day contract.
- TCESC pays 90 percent of a teacher’s healthcare premium each month.
- You accrue paid sick leave with also having three personal days per year.
- TCESC pays for a $50,000 life insurance policy.
- Funds are available for partial tuition reimbursement.
- TCESC provides a mentor and a structured program for resident educators.
- Each classroom has at least one classroom assistant. There are counselors also working in many of our ED classrooms.
