The Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention (ASAP) Coalition is seeking a part time Coalition Coordinator. The ASAP coalition engages in strategic partnerships to solve our community’s substance abuse problems. Members include treatment providers, schools, health departments, child welfare, people in recovery, parents of people in recovery, law enforcement, child welfare and more.
The Coalition Coordinator will work in tandem with the ASAP Project Director.
Responsibilities:
- Attend monthly Coalition meetings (3rd Tuesday of every month at 9:30am)
- Attend Subcommittee meetings as scheduled
- Coordinate activities across subcommittees to ensure there is no duplication and activities align with the ASAP mission
- Record meeting minutes for all Coalition meetings.
- Prepare meeting space before meetings
- Update Coalition social media pages
- Work with County IT department to update ASAP webpage as needed
- Maintain Coalition member database, making updates as needed
- Assist with marketing of Coalition
- Call and/or email Coalition members and Contracted Service providers as needed
- Attend all ASAP functions as appropriate
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in Internet usage
- Excellent organization and communication skills
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
