Assistant F & B Manager

SUMMARY

The Assistant Food and Beverage Outlet Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the Food and Beverage Outlets

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establishes par levels for supplies and equipment.
• Maintains stock of wines/champagnes and orders shortages noted and ensures proper storage. Ensures staff is aware of status of specials
• Prepares weekly work schedules, reviews payroll and tip distribution for staff.
• Assigns work and side duties to staff
• Establish par levels for supplies and equipment. Complete requisitions to replenish shortages or additional items needed for anticipated business
• Must have strong commitment to guest service, the ability to respond to guest complaints in a timely, professional manner.
• Monitors the presentation of station assignments, ensuring compliance of standards.
• Monitors staff performance
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks
• Monitors and maintains cleanliness of outlets and equipment
• Monitors daily operations in the department
• Maintains documentation of food and alcohol certifications for outlets team

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years food and beverage supervisory experience, preferably in a hotel of similar size

• Knowledge and strict adherence to state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving
• Food handling certificate
• Alcohol safety certificate
