Industrial Engineering - Intern

TRUMPF is seeking students for an onsite Industrial Engineer Internship located at our Cranbury, NJ location. This internship will provide a college-level student with practical and professional experience that will enhance and compliment their classroom learning. This internship will be from May 2025 - December 2025 for at least 32 hours a week.

Job And Responsibilities

• Analyze efficiency of production line (Semiconductor Fab)
• Use numerical solutions to improve scheduling for multiple products in multiple tools
• Champion standardization tasks within the Semiconductor Fab
• Perform time studies
• Maximize tool utilization
  
  

Required Education And Experience

• Industrial Engineer Student who will be going into their senior year Fall 2025 (final year of a 4-year Bachelor’s degree or Masters with a completed 4-year industrial engineering bachelors)
• Ability to create scrips to extract and analyze data from SQL databases
• Ample understanding of 5S
• Previous experience in Semiconductor Fab is preferred
• Outspoken and with good communication skills
