Large parts machining supplies the customer with the highest quality parts on time while achieving expected productivity standards. This internship will run from May 2025 to December of 2025, with potential for extension. We will ask that you work at least 32 hours per week.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is required. Strong inter-personal communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
Education
Must be a student enrolled in an accredited university or institution pursuing an undergraduate’s degree in a related field.

- The responsibilities of a Manufacturing intern supporting Large Parts Machining:
- Detailed process analytics
- Fixture design
- Process documentation
- Leading continues improvement workshops
- Working with other employees to improve current work practices
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining and ideally sheet metal manufacturing
- CAD design experience SolidWorks is ideal but not required
- Understanding which materials to use for different applications
- Being able to read and understand advanced blueprints and drawings
- Having great attention to quality
