TRUMPF is seeking students for an onsite Semiconductor Development Internship located at our Cranbury, NJ location. This individual will work in the Semiconductor Development, Testing, and Failure Analysis group, contributing to laser characterization, data analysis, testing station automation, and R&D test database management. This internship will be onsite from May 2025 - August 2025 40 hours per week.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Enhance the R&D test database by developing a program that:
- Automates data upload from each testing station.
- Detects multiple testing instances of the same laser.
- Saves testing data with timestamps for traceability.
- Develop automation software for testing stations.
- Conduct laser testing (training will be provided).
- Use a microscope to capture laser images for failure analysis.
- Experience in coding language, Python, or C, or .NET, or LabVIEW.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills based on an analytical approach to tasks.
- College student in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or related.
