What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician position at Trunation?
,Summary: We are looking for technicians with low voltage experience in structured cabling, voice & data.
- 2 years of experience working in a commercial environment.
- Experience pulling and terminating Cat 6/6e, Fiber Optic or Coax cable.
- Ability to install support structures (ladder racks, j-hooks, etc.)
- Experience using digital multi-meters, toning, and/or testing cable a plus
- IDF/MDF Build-outs
- Ability to troubleshoot any issues with the network a big plus
REQUIREMENTS:
- Own your own basic hand tools.
- Must have your own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
NICE TO HAVES:
- Certifications and/or formal training in any of the above listed items is BIG plus.
- Experience overseeing and/or leading crews.
- Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics.
