Job Overview
We are seeking a Contents Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contents management, particularly within the restoration industry. This role involves being responsible for overseeing the process of managing and restoring personal property damaged by fire, water, or mold including initial assessment , inventorying, packing, cleaning, storage and delivery, ensuring customer belongings are handled with care communication with clients throughout the restoration process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged properties to evaluate the condition of contents and determine the scope of restoration needed.
- Accurately document and photograph all personal property, creating detailed inventory lists distinguishing salvageable items from non-salvageable ones.
- Organize and supervise the safe packing, removal, and transportation of contents to a secure storage facility.
- Manage the cleaning and restoration processes for various types of contents including furniture, electronics, clothing, artwork, and documents using specialized cleaning techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized storage facility, ensuring proper labeling and tracking of all stored items.
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters to assess damages and facilitate claims process.
- Lead and train a team of contents technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring quality standards are met.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
