The TruPointe Partners National Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of TruPointe’s private sector sales efforts across our key market segments, including Industrial & Manufacturing, Real Estate & Construction, Food, Beverage & Health. This role leverages TruPointe’s supplier portfolio and competitive advantages to secure new business, manage existing strategic relationships, and maximize revenue.

Based in Franklin, TN, within the greater Nashville MSA, the Account Manager will be part of a highly collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced team environment.

What You Will Do

Account Management and Sales Execution:

  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with current and prospective members aligned with TruPointe’s market and growth strategies.
  • Develop presentations, proposals, and negotiations demonstrating the value of TruPointe’s offerings and solutions.
  • Coordinate internally to develop tailored solutions addressing specific member needs.
  • Drive contract renewals, expansions, and ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline, forecasting accurately and reporting progress regularly.
  • Lead joint business planning and campaign management initiatives to further enhance member engagement and sales outcomes.

Strategic Relationship Development:

  • Identify and target key accounts within specified market segments to maximize growth and member engagement.
  • Nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, enhancing member satisfaction and retention.

Collaboration and Internal Alignment:

  • Work closely with Marketing, Partner Development, Operations, and Revenue Operations teams to ensure offerings align with member expectations and market demands.
  • Collaborate with internal and supplier teams to deliver exceptional post-sale experiences, proactively addressing any member concerns.

Market Insight and Competitive Intelligence:

  • Stay informed of market trends, competitor strategies, and member needs to enhance account growth strategies.
  • Utilize market insights and data analytics to inform decision-making and optimize sales outcomes.

Reporting and Metrics:

  • Track key account metrics, including revenue performance, member engagement, and contract status.
  • Regularly update and forecast account progress, using HubSpot CRM for accurate record-keeping.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Experience:

  • 5-7 years in account management or B2B sales roles within GPO or related private sector industries.
  • Proven track record managing strategic relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Skills:

  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, with proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical capabilities to leverage data insights for informed decision-making.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).

  • Previous experience managing high-value or strategic accounts.
  • Exposure to corporate and site-level operations, particularly in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Experience utilizing enterprise procurement systems.
