The base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $70,000 to $110,000 per year. Actual compensation is based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate; therefore, we may pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation also includes bonus.
POSITION SUMMARY
Deliver operational efficiency on a beverage production line by leading a team of five maintenance technicians. Utilize PM system, work order system, and other proactive maintenance programs to eliminate downtime throughout facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Improve operational predictability by owning the Preventive Maintenance (PM) system and by developing strategic and tactical action plansEnsure technical documentation, PMs, and spares for equipment are in placeCoach teams and leadership on effective PM planning / executionMaximize production equipment availability, minimize unplanned downtime, and extend equipment lifeMaintain all operations support equipment (Boilers, Air Compressors, and Refrigeration)Engage, lead, and build technical mastery / capability in the maintenance team and line techniciansDevelop trouble-shooting capabilities at all levels, including root cause failure analysisDevelop and execute repair & maintenance cost centers for the plantEnsure all plant maintenance operations are conducted in a safe and controlled environmentWork with Plant Leadership to improve process reliability and run efficiency metricsEffectively communicate results and address gaps in department performance through the implementation of continuous improvement methodologies; foster a zero-loss cultureManage vendors and lead projects as neededActive participation in developing and executing advanced mechanical and E&I training and qualification programs; participate in assessments, ensure effective training, and maintain consistent qualification standardsEmbrace and model Company culture & valuesAdditional responsibilities as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience preferredMinimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience is requiredExperience leading, supervising, or managing others is preferredKNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
Mechanical and electrical experience in food manufacturing preferredKnowledge of continuous improvement type work systems and implementation preferredAbility to prioritize work in a high demand work environmentProficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.Ability to work and influence within a team environmentStrong analytical, technical problem-solving, and root cause identification skillsSelf-motivated with a sense of urgency and able to motivate othersDemonstrated results in manufacturing maintenance utilizing maintenance systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to flex schedule and take calls after hours during the week as needed to maintain production schedule (no production on weekends)TruRoots was created with a clear vision...to nourish our families, community, and planet from root to fruit.
