OneSparQ is looking for an experienced Cable Technician to join a growing Telecom Company in Kansas City, KS. This individual will be traveling around the Kansas City area supporting the Healthcare division.
Required Skills:
3 years of experience in a low voltage cabling role
Strong understanding of running, pulling, terminating, and labeling Cat5/Cat6/RJ45/RG6 wires
Hands on experience with Nurse call Applications, CCTV, Sound Systems, or Fire Alarm
Experience reading and interpreting CAD/Building blueprints
Additional Skills:
Cisco & Microsoft Certs
NSCA CEST Certification
NICET
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the final hookup and programming of electronics equipment for new jobs
Responds to customer service-related issues promptly
Tests and documents readings for customer's systems
Updates customer files
Troubleshoots and repairs electronic components
Responsible for handling on-call duties on a regular scheduled basis
Trains and instructs the customer on the proper use of the equipment
Responsible for reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
Responsible for the operation of the following test equipment: Volt Meter, Ohm Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Multimeter, and Impedance Meter
Assists with preventive maintenance of customer equipment
Responsible for accurate tracking on time sheets, service/installation tickets and
inventory items
Full compliance with company's and customer's safety program
Other duties as required or assigned by company management

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
