Required Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role
- 2 years of experience in a Managing role
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Strong expertise in New Product Development
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Additional Skills:
- Experience with fabric or soft goods
- Background in military and defense industries
- Knowledge of SolidWorks Electrical, FEA, and/or AutoCAD
- Familiarity with SAP
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee a team of 8 Engineers, Designers, and Technicians
- Direct new product development initiatives, manage production support changes (ECR/ECOs), and set team priorities
- Engage in hands-on activities, including prototype assembly, fitting, and testing
- Review and validate drawings for new product development using SolidWorks
