OneSparQ is looking for an experienced Low Voltage Technician to join a growing Telecom company in Indianapolis, IN.

Required Skills:

3 years of experience as a Cable Installer Technician

Strong experience with RG6, coaxial, and Cat5/Cat6 cabling

Proficiency in cable pulling, installation, connections, termination and labelling in commercial environments

Hands on experience with CCTV, Security Systems, Access Points, and Fire Alarms and Nurse Calls

Additional Skills:

BICSI

CompTIA Network Certifications

Copper & Fiber Optic Cabling

Job Responsibilities:

Familiarity with data center racking and stacking procedures

Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints and schematics

Must be able to build racks and terminate connections

Skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing cable and connectivity issues

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the cabling and construction industry

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and clients

Day to day coordination with General Contractors

Flexibility to work on construction sites and adapt to changing project requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Salary : $30 - $38
