Job Overview: As an Exterior Christmas Light Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and removing outdoor Christmas light displays for residential & commercial properties. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a friendly attitude, and a commitment to providing 5-star customer service. You will work directly with customers to ensure their holiday visions come to life while creating a positive, memorable experience throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Christmas Light Installation: Safely and efficiently install Christmas lights, decorations, and displays on residential properties (roofs, trees, bushes, walkways, etc.).
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients, addressing any questions or concerns, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the process.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Respond to service calls for light repairs or troubleshooting, ensuring that all displays are functioning properly throughout the holiday season.
- Removal & Storage: Carefully remove lights and decorations after the holiday season and store them for future use, ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines, especially when working at heights or handling electrical equipment, to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your customers.
- Customer Satisfaction: Go above and beyond to ensure that customers are 100% satisfied with their installations and the overall service experience. This may include accommodating special requests or making adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Christmas light installation or related work is preferred, but not required. We provide training!
- Ability to work at heights and lift up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs].
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety and troubleshooting (preferred, but training can be provided).
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays during the peak season.
- Comfortable working in cold or adverse weather conditions during the winter months.
