Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation, management, and oversight of the company's budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop complex financial models and conduct advanced "what-if" scenario analyses to support executive decision-making.
- Perform financial forecasting, including strategic analysis of future rates and cost trends.
- Develop and manage indirect rate calculations and submission of provisional billing rates.
- Prepare and submit incurred cost submissions in compliance with government contract requirements.
- Lead the preparation of cost proposals and pricing strategies for government contract opportunities.
- Conduct variance analysis, identify financial risks, and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Ensure financial data accuracy, maintain comprehensive documentation, and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Provide support for DCAA and external financial reviews/audits.
- Monitor contract funding levels and provide comprehensive updates on contract performance.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations in all financial activities.
- Drive the implementation of improved financial processes and reporting systems.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field required. MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a government contracting environment.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting principles.
- Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and government contract compliance.
- Proven experience in leading financial strategy and supporting executive decision-making.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with program managers, sales teams, and contracts managers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle special projects as needed.
- Experience with government contracts compliance and the ability to assist with audit preparation and compliance reporting.
- Experience with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) audits and compliance.
- Knowledge of indirect cost rate development and cost proposal preparation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work independently.
- Proven ability to manage complex financial models and deliver strategic insights.
- Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain and Finance module as well as Power BI.
- Participate in the identity verification process to access secure client or government portals by authorizing certified supplier management platforms to obtain information from your personal credit profile or other information, solely to verify your identity.
