Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Performs technical laboratory functions
• Maintains quality results
• Complies with all laboratory policies and OSHA regulations related to safety, cleanliness and infection control
• Maintains laboratory equipment and supplies
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate
• No prior experience required; laboratory experience preferred
• Knowledge of EMRs, medical terminology
• Urgent care clinic experience preferred

• Follows written and verbal direction
• Complies appropriately with policies and protocols

Position Details: 

• Full-time
• Non-Exempt
• Hours of Work – General hours are based on the 3/2 split schedule.
• Work Environment – This position operates in a clinic setting and requires use of standard laboratory equipment. Work is primarily sedentary in nature.
