What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Trust Care Health?
Responsibilities:
- Performs technical laboratory functions
- Maintains quality results
- Complies with all laboratory policies and OSHA regulations related to safety, cleanliness and infection control
- Maintains laboratory equipment and supplies
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate
- No prior experience required; laboratory experience preferred
- Knowledge of EMRs, medical terminology
- Urgent care clinic experience preferred

- Communication proficiency
- Detail oriented; strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Follows written and verbal direction
- Complies appropriately with policies and protocols
Position Details:
- Full-time
- Non-Exempt
- Hours of Work – General hours are based on the 3/2 split schedule.
- Work Environment – This position operates in a clinic setting and requires use of standard laboratory equipment. Work is primarily sedentary in nature.
