- Maintain entrance and exit logs for authorized persons.
- Inspect bags and packages entering the premises.
- Metal Detectors: Guards will be required to operate metal detectors as deemed necessary by the Regional Manager or Designee.
- Periodically patrolling the interior area, and after the close of business, check for fire hazards, and mechanical alarm system malfunctions, ensuring doors are secured and turning off unnecessary lights.
- Report any security violations to the facility manager.
- Maintain a daily duty log, noting all activities and incidents that occurred during each shift.

Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
- Security Experience preferred
- Possess at least two (2) years of related work experience
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Active guard card or the ability to obtain
- Must have the ability to greet and interact positively and courteously with the public.
- Must speak, read, and write English in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be able to read, understand, and apply printed rules and directions.
- Must be in good general health and able to stand and/or walk for an entire shift and able to lift or carry objects of up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Must maintain a current First Aid Card and will be required to show the card upon request.
Pay Information The pay for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.
Hourly Rate: $15.00/hr.
