Senior Product Designer - Consumer Tech (SF Bay Area)
Our client, an early-stage consumer AI startup founded by experienced entrepreneurs (ex-Google, Twitter,), is looking for a Senior Product Designer with a deep consumer focus. This well-funded company, backed by a top-tier VC, is targeting hundreds of millions of global users with an ambitious product.
Key Requirements :
- Consumer Design Expertise
Must have 3 years of consumer-focused experience, with strong intuition about how consumers think and behave.
At least 5 years of hands-on design experience across all stages, from visual to interaction.
Ability to quickly translate ideas into clickable prototypes in minutes.
Willing to handle all aspects of design (visual, interaction, content, etc.) with the autonomy to hire for any areas outside their direct expertise.
Proven track record of working in ultra-fast-paced environments and collaborating with smart engineers.
Must be located in or near the SF Bay Area and able to be in the office (Mountain View) at least four days a week.
Ideally at L4 - L5 level, but must be highly hands-on.
Able to manage uncertainty with a positive, proactive approach.
Nice-to-Have Skills :
Leadership skills are a bonus, though not required, as the role is initially focused on individual contributions.
Ideally has experience working on at least one product feature with tens of millions of global users.
Willing to dive deep into AI and learn about it.
Willing to learn to use IDE / Git to commit style changes.
