What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal Corporate Securities/Government Investigations position at Trust Point Inc.?
Great opportunity for a Paralegal to join a leading international law firm in their Richmond, VA office on a direct hire basis. This position supports attorneys and more senior paralegals in a practice group focused on white collar criminal investigations. Duties include, but are not limited to the following :
- Basic knowledge and application of Federal, State and Local rules. Stays abreast of current rules changes and informs team of same.
- Drafts routine correspondence, memoranda to file, and basic documents using internal templates and / or established forms; correspondence primarily used internally and reviewed by a lawyer or more experienced paralegal.
- Performs routine document reviews, i.e., chronological and alphabetical review of documents. Assists with document organization, and preparation for discovery, trial, administrative, and / or business closings, as applicable and as directed by a lawyer or more experienced paralegal.
