What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academic Head (Maths / Science, Able to work on Tuesday - Saturday) Short Notice position at TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD.?
Job Responsibilities :
- Monitor and ensure lessons are delivered according to expected standards and desired outcomes through regular class observation and training workshops for teachers and associate teachers (e.g., value-added marking workshops, classroom management, parents management).
- Maintain close communication with parents through meetings, workshops, and written correspondence (e.g., newsletters).
- Conduct regular review sessions with staff to appraise and provide feedback on work performance and approval of leave for teachers.
- Provide leadership in curriculum innovation, planning, design, and research.
- Stay current with curricular trends and changes in Singapore, ensuring that changes in MOE guidelines are integrated promptly into the centre’s curriculum.
- Plan, research, and create innovative programs / materials that align with MOE guidelines to create an enriching experience for the centre’s students.
- Collaborate with the marketing manager to develop content for marketing materials that promote a strong and unique branding of the centre’s program.
- Actively scan internal and external environments to identify potential problems and opportunities to maximize students’ learning experiences.
- Shape a culture of high competence, commitment, and connectivity.
