Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative is a clinic-based position. The Customer Service Representative works from the clinic reception desk, and attends to patient needs, ensuring the customer experience is excellent in all aspects. The Customer Service Representative will coordinate the patient's clinical experience and ensure that the front desk operations run smoothly.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Model the TrustCare Health values of compassion, accountability, respect, and efficiency at all times and with every interaction both internal and external stakeholders
- Warmly welcome and greet patients and visitors
- Register patients according to established protocols
- Assist patients with completing any necessary forms
- Ensure patient information is accurate and up to date including insurance billing information
- Maintain and manages patient records while following HIPAA guidelines
- Manage incoming calls
- Collect patient co-pays, deductibles, and past balances
- Ensures the clinic reception area is well maintained, including the patient waiting areas and restrooms.
- Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Complete other clerical duties as assigned
- Provides a warm welcome and thankful exit to patients
- Politely calls patients by their name
- Inquiries if all aspects of the patients visit exceeded expectations and notes any deficiencies for forwarding to the Customer Service Manager for service recover action
